I am not sitting in the sun, although now and then it interrupts the view of my computer. Still, it is cold, because people keep opening and closing the door of the Starbucks in Freehold, NJ. It is next to Barnes and Noble--no wall between them; yet, you are not permitted to bring in books to this Starbucks because the stores are not affiliated, although they certainly feed off of one another. So I took my Nabokov book back to B&N and got my 10% discount. If I had been smarter, I could have gotten a 40% discount (B&N has a 30% discount they just sent us). I'd really like to get a sweet, but there are clearly too many fucking people and if I temporarily leave my computer and books to get something sweet, I'll lose my material goods. Off to the Red Lobster 2nite, I fear...hopefully they'll serve cornbread with sugar.
